I still remember it vividly when my father used to teach me how to tell the time with our huge and noisy pink wall clock. The circle-shaped tick-tocking watch has black numbers on its face and black seconds and minutes hands as well. Each time I would get the time correctly, my father would give me a piece of gum.
Nowadays, digital timepieces are of a rave, I still prefer the old-fashioned partition watches. In fact, I have one put up in every room of my house. For my daughter's room, they have this really cute adorable cat shaped pink wall clock. Its tail moves in sync with the seconds hand too. For my kitchen, I used a stainless steel type of watch. It matches my shiny marble floors, durable silver appliances and stainless steel sink. For the family room, we enjoy hearing our ornate cuckoo timepiece chirp every hour. Its antique design goes really well with the room's Persian carpets and other traditional decors.
As they say, it's different strokes for different folks. The pink wall clock might not be for you but there are other timepieces that are perfect for you. If you like modern watches, why not try a neon type? They are not only fun and funky but they add pizzazz to any room. For the collector bug, there are lots of memorabilia timepieces that you could add to your collection. Not only will they look good, they also allow you to own a piece of a memory.
The pink wall clock is so easy to set-up. You just need to power them up with batteries and hang them up. One just needs to be sure that the timepiece is secured. You don't want your watch falling on someone's head.
